Welcome to Japan

Country Japan is an island nation in East Asia. It is located at the western end of the Pacific Ocean, east of the sea of Japan, and is next to the People’s Republic of China, Korea and Rusia. Japan consists of 6,852 island and make it an archipelago. The main island from north to south are Hokkaido, Honshu (largest island), Shikoku, and Kyusu. About 97% of Japan’s land area is on its fourth largest island. The highest Mountain in Japan is Mount Fuji which is a volcano. Japan’s population is 128 million people, and is ranked 10th most populous country in the world. Tokyo is de facto the capital of Japan, and is a prefecture. Tokyo raya is the name for Tokyo and several cities in the surrounding prefectures.

Japan is a country surruounded by oceans and consists of four large island : Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. Tokyo is the largest city in Jaoan with a popilastion of more than 13 million people and is known as one of the surrounding prefectures. If Tokyo is the center of the kanto region, in contrast Osaka is the center of the Kansai region. Osaka is the second most populous city in Japan which is the economic and cultural center of western Japan. Between Tokyo and Osaka, there is Nagoya which is also the third largest city with the largest population in Japan. Japan has 4 seasons namely spring, summer, fall, and winter. For example spring takes place in March, April, and May. The summer months are June, July and August and the autumn months are September, October and November. Winter lasts for December, January and February.


Famous food in Japan Shushi, Shashimi, Onigiri, Udon, Dorayaki, Mochi, Takoyaki, Yakiniku, Soba, Ramen etc. Typical     food in spring in Japan is Ichigo Daifuku, Sakura Mochi, Sakura Mochi Taiyaki, Ichigo Dango, and Nanohana. Summer food in Japan is Soumen, Hiyashi Chuka, Rei shabu, Ayu, Yakitora, Tokoroten, Anmitsu, Mizu Manju, Suika,and Ramune. Autumn food in Japan is shin-mai, Ikan Sanma, Kaki, Kuri, Ginnan and Jamur Mtasutake. Winter food in Japan is oden, Mizutaki, Ramen, Mochi, Tori zosui, Yudofu, Yakimo. There are some Japanese cultures Tea ceremony, Matsuri, Anime, manga, cosplay etc.
