Toraja is a sacred cultural ethnic located in Tana Toraja or Toraja land in South Sulawesi. It is famous for burial/ funeral ceremony as huge part of the culture. Toraja is listed as one of UNESCO World Heritage tentative list. Tana Toraja sites located in remote area in Makale District. They do not have so much access on public facilities. The effort toward Toraja becomes listed in the World Heritage has been done by KRIS foundation since 2006 using the community based approach. However, inspired by the Young Guardian in Action project in Borobudur and convinced by the value of international volunteering service, KRIS Foundation is eager to host international volunteers to support its program to address the local people for world heritage awareness.

The Aims:
1. To enlarge Tana Toraja heritage project issue on local community
2. To improve local community participation to preserve Tana Toraja as their own culture
3. Provide opportunities, life experience, that shared among participants and local residents with the rhythm of local life
